National Capital Kennel Club, Inc.

Annually National Capital Kennel Club hosts shows as part of the July Independence and October Fall Fest Clusters held at Howard County Fairgrounds.  In 2023 our show dates are:

- Sunday, July 9 

- Sunday, October 15

- Sunday Rally, October 15

National Capital Kennel Club celebrated our 100th anniversary and legacy of supporting the sport of purebred dogs in 2014.  With members committed to the sport of dogs, we are an active club hosting an annual holiday celebration for our members along with special events including our handling seminar  this past September that can be viewed on www.akc.tv. Support  for  Junior Handlers is also a top priority.

In July, in addition to Conformation judging for our show, we have a 4-6 month puppy competition. In October we have an Obedience trial with classes for Novice and Beginner Novice, and one Rally trial in the afternoon.  We hope to see you at a National Capital Kennel Club show in 2023! Everyone always enjoys our club hospitality and plenty of food during our luncheons and annual club events.
